3年ぶりの墓参り
On the day of Obon, I went to visit my wife's family's grave.
お盆の日は妻の実家の墓参りにいきました。
My wife went her home for the first time in three years due to Covid 19.
妻はコロナの影響で3年ぶりの帰省です。
My wife and I woke up at 5 o'clock on that day to avoid being stuck in a traffic jam.
当日は渋滞に巻き込まれるのが嫌で、その為にその日は5時に起きたのです。
We left home at 6 o'clock
家を出たのは6時です。
It was quite a while since I had driven on the highway.
高速道路に乗るのも久々です。
A car just happened to come out of the highway, so I thought I could enter.
たまたま高速道路から車が出てきたので、そこからは入ればいかな、と思い、そこから入りました。
But suddenly an oncoming vehicle appeared.
すると突然対向車があらわれたのです。
My head was half asleep but that woke me up.
ここでボーっとしていた頭は目を覚ましたのです。
This is often referred to as "driving the wrong way ".
これはよく言われる「逆走」というものです。
When I panicked and tried to turn around my car, there was a passage to the opposite lane on the side, I turned left and went into the correct way as if nothing had happened.
慌てて方向転換しようと思いましたら、すぐ脇に反対車線にいく通路がありましたので、何もなかったかのように左折して正しい車線に入りました。
if there had been a lot of traffic at the exit as normal days, I wouldn’t have entered the highway no matter how much I tried.
普段なら交通量が多いので出口に入る事はできなかったでしょう。
But it happened early in the morning
早朝だからおきた出来事でした。
The fact that there was a passage to the opposite lane means that there must be people who make the same mistake as I did.
反対車線に行く通路があったという事は、私のような間違いをする人がいるのでこのような抜け道があるのでしょうね。
We arrived in Tochigi two hours earlier than planned.
栃木には予定より2時間も早く着きました。
To kill the time, we boarded a pleasure boat and enjoyed at the town of Kura (“Old storehouse zone “in English) from the river.
そこで時間つぶしのために遊覧船に乗り蔵の街を河から眺めていました。
When I fed the carps, I was surprised to see dozens of them gathering to be fed.
鯉に餌をあげたら数10匹の鯉が餌めがけて集まったのには驚かされました。
After that, we went to "Historical Legend Museum " in Tochigi City and listened to a local song sung by an elderly lady robot and enjoyed it.
その後は栃木の「歴史・伝説館」に行き、
おばさんロボットが歌う地元の小唄を聞いていました。
Japanese robot technology is very fantastic, so we felt as if a real singer had sung a song.
日本のロボット技術はすごくこのロボットは本物のように見えました。
I was very surprised, so when I told the man in front of my left that Japanese robot technology was amazing, he just glanced at me and ignored my remark.
私はとても驚いていたので、斜め前のこのおじさんに、日本のロボット技術はすごいですね、と話しかけると、彼は私の方を一瞥しただけで私の事を無視しました。
I was offended with his attitude.
あまり気分の良いものではありません。
I kept listening to robot performances, telling myself that there are weird people in the world.
世の中には変わった人がいると思いなおして、ロボットの演奏を聞き続けていました。
He also listened to the robot's performance without moving.
彼も身じろぎもせずにロボットの演奏を聞きづけていました。
My wife whispered to me that the guy might be so weird.
妻から小声で、このおじさんは少しおかしいのかもしれないわ、とささやかれました。
I also thought his concentration was abnormal.
私もこの集中力は異常だと思っていました。
After about 4 minutes, that robot finished playing.
4分位しましたら、このロボットの演奏が終わりました。
Then, a staff suddenly appeared from the side of the stage and asked how the museum's robots were. So, I realized that the weird guy was also a robot.
すると舞台の脇から、スタッフが現れて、当館のロボット達はいかがでしたか、と聞かれて初めてこの不愛想なおじさんもロボットだとわかったのでした。
I thought that it was a very well-made robot.
大変よくできているロボットでした。
If the staff did not explain to us about them, I think I would have concluded that I met a weird guy.
スタッフの説明がなければ、このおじさんの事は、変わった人がいたな、で終わっていたと思います。
がんで亡くなったチームメートと戦う最後の夏。
今日はガイドの下調べで奥様と谷中に参りました。
下調べが終わったのでランチです。
最初は「オトメ」さんに行きましたが遅い盆休で休業でした。
次は「 モゴモゴ」さんも遅い盆休で休業でした。
仕方ないので切り札の「一寸亭」さんにいきましたら、入店まで軽く1時間も立っていそうなので見送りました。
迷ったときは現場に戻れということで、車を停めていた場所に向かいましたら、
私のテイストにあったお店がありましたのでそこにしました。
今日のお店は「さんさき坂カフェ」さんです。

店内の雰囲気です。
店内は昭和の建物をリノベーションしたような趣です。
メニューです。
今日のオーダーは「諸塚村の原木しいたけの肉詰め＆珈琲・紅茶」＠1,100+＠200＝1,300円です。
座るやいなやお水がでてきました。
待つこと14分で「諸塚村の原木しいたけの肉詰め」が到着しました。
見た目、オカズが多いですね。
これには瞠目しました。
それでは実食です。
まずは諸塚村の原木しいたけの肉詰めです。
しいたけは肉が厚くて噛みしだくとしいたけのエキスがピュツピュツと口内にほとばしります。これは美味しいですね。
ひき肉も美味しいです。
野菜の炊き合わせも美味しいです。
ヘルシーなので高評価です。
かぼちゃ炊きもホッコリしています。
甘さが際立っています。
これも美味しいです。
メカブの酢の物も酸味がくどくなくて美味しいです。
白魚の白いアクセントがいいですね。
ここの料理は全てゆっくりと味わっていただきました。想像以上に美味い料理でした。
食後は珈琲と紅茶を飲んでまったりとしていました。
秋からガイドが始まるでしょうか・・・
全てコロナ次第ではありますが。
